Who we are and what this covers

Simvay LLC (Simvay, we, us) is a cybersecurity and managed technology firm headquartered in Westlake, Ohio. This statement explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, simvay.com. Simvay LLC is the data controller for that information.

Services delivered to clients are governed by their service agreements. This statement covers the public website only.

What we collect

We keep collection to a minimum. This site has no user accounts, no advertising trackers, and no third-party analytics.

  • Contact form submissions: name, organization, email address, phone number (optional), sector, and the message you write.
  • Direct correspondence: if you email or call us, we retain that correspondence.

How we use it

We do not share it with third parties except the service providers we need to operate the website and our business (such as our email provider), or where the law requires it.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on two legal bases: our legitimate interest in operating this website and responding to the inquiries it generates, and your consent when you choose to send us your information. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Simvay operates in the United States, and information submitted through this site is processed and stored in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, including from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your information is transferred to the United States when you submit it.

Hosting and server logs

This website is served by Cloudflare. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages and to protect the site from malicious traffic. That processing is described in Cloudflare's own privacy documentation.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Retention

We keep correspondence and inquiry records only as long as they serve a business purpose or as the law requires, then delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy of it. This includes rights under the GDPR for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.

Send requests to contact@simvay.com. We will respond within the timeframe the applicable law sets. If you are in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
